Paying for most of my college education myself enriched my studies as a Bachelor of Science in Management student from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. At times I worked 3 jobs while earning my degree.
The extensive work experience I accumulated while attending business courses provided me with a real world perspective that could not be learned by simply studying books.
After completing my undergraduate education with ten years of work experience, I pursued a career working at the university for the Vice Provost For Research and Graduate Studies, and as Finance & Operations Manager for Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech.
My passion as an entrepreneur with sales and marketing experience spanning a couple of decades led to starting a digital marketing agency during the financial crash of 2008. At that time many businesses were lost and the real estate and home building industries were heavily impacted.
After the company he worked for went bankrupt, my partner and I started over that year with a new business that needed everything. With nothing more than a $25 marketing budget, an old pickup truck, and some hand me down tools, we started a home remodeling business that thrives to this day.
